Welcome to Frontlane Studio. This guide walks you through the essentials of setting up your first managed WordPress site on our platform.
Creating Your First Site
Once you’ve logged in to the control panel, navigate to WordPress in the sidebar. Click Add Site and provide:
- Site Name — A human-readable label (e.g., “Main Marketing Site”).
- Domain — Your primary domain. We’ll provision a free SSL certificate automatically.
- WordPress Version — We recommend the latest stable release.
Our provisioning system spins up a new environment in under 60 seconds, complete with a pre-configured object cache, edge CDN rules, and daily backups.
Connecting Your Domain
Point your domain’s DNS to the nameservers shown in your site dashboard. If you prefer to keep your existing DNS provider, add the CNAME record we provide instead. SSL is issued automatically once DNS propagates.
Installing Plugins and Themes
Upload plugins and themes through the WordPress admin as usual, or use the Drive panel in the control panel to drag-and-drop zip files directly. Our platform is compatible with the vast majority of WordPress plugins — if you hit an edge case, our support team can help.
Performance Out of the Box
Every site ships with:
- Edge caching via Cloudflare for sub-100ms global response times.
- Object cache backed by a persistent key-value store.
- Image optimization that automatically serves WebP/AVIF formats.
- HTTP/3 and Early Hints enabled by default.
No additional configuration is required — these features activate the moment your site goes live.
